To admit my own bias, this story is one I beta'd. But even if I hadn't, this is an utterly delightful fic set before the first Captain America movie. For those who know the canon it's crossed with, the Archie narration is perfect, and for those who don't, it's a fun outside POV fic with a really great period feel to the narration and style.

The next witness was out in Brooklyn and I wasn’t bringing the sedan out that way, I’d take a cab and the client could eat it. It took the cabbie a bit to find the address, but I did and went looking for number 5C and the Barnes’ residence where Steven Rogers was living.

Thanks for recommending this. I loved Nero Wolfe grwoing up and she did do a great job narrating for Archie.
